Microsoft 365 backup

Clumio’s Microsoft 365 backup solution is no longer supported.

Legacy TLS 1.2

API endpoints require TLS 1.3, or TLS 1.2 with Forward Secrecy (ECDHE-AES-GCM) cipher suites. Clients, proxies, and load balancers that still use RSA key exchange or non-GCM suites will fail handshake. See Authentication.

Legacy type values in S3 Backtrack

The S3 Backtrack restore and preview APIs no longer accept the legacy type values. Requests using them return validation errors. The default when type is omitted is rollback.

Bucket-level S3 continuous backup

S3 continuous backup is configured through backup policies. Bucket-level enablement is not supported in the UI, the API, or the Terraform provider. Existing bucket-level configurations were upgraded to policy-driven continuous backup. These API surfaces no longer operate as they did:
  • PATCH /datasources/aws/s3-buckets/{bucket_id}
  • The event_bridge_enabled field on S3 bucket GET responses

S3 Threat Scan API

The S3 Threat Scan API now uses threat naming. Malware-named fields and endpoints still return the same values until 14 July 2027. During the dual-run, both names are present so clients can switch at any time. If both threat_scan and malware_scan are sent on policy create or update, threat_scan takes precedence.
